24/7 DOXA Content 2020 Friday, 17th January-REJOICE IN THE TRUTH

FAVOURED greetings, Cherished one. We thank God for the ability of their ord to renew our minds and shape our lives in His glory. We have been dealing with love and it’s nature. Yesterday, we learned that love does not rejoice in iniquity. Today, our focal text unveils another revelation about the love of God which is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. And it says that love rejoices in the truth. *Love takes delight in the truth. Yes, love is always glad to side with truth, not lies.*

The word “rejoices” as used here is the Greek word “sugchairō“. And it means to sympathize or congratulate in gladness. Thus, this kind of love takes part in another’s joy in the truth. In other words, it sympathizes and congratulates because the truth is prevailing in their lives. Yes, it celebrates when others are doing well and progressing. It does not rejoice in other peoples failure or downfall but rejoices in their success attained in a truthful manner. Love and truth can walk together in the same destiny path.

Where love abounds truth must reign. Love rejoices because the truth prevailing is based on the revelation of God’s word; Truth according to the intents of God’s word, not what the world accepts as truth. God’s word determines the parameters of truth. Since love is not envious, it takes delight in other people’s joy. Congratulate and celebrate that individual for achieving that glorious results. Sincerely show support to the one progressing in a positive venture. Beloved, whenever you support the actions, words and thoughts of someone who lives by the standards of God’s word, you are rejoicing in the truth. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

PRAYER
Lovely Father, I thank You for loving me and showing me how to love others. As I refuse to rejoice in iniquity, I take glorious delight in the truth of Your word and those who walk by the same. I celebrate and sympathize in gladness wherever Your truth prevails in the life of the brethren in Jesus Lovely Name. Amen !
