‘Jesus Is King’ Has Caused a Spike in People Googling About Christianity

Kanye West’s latest album Jesus Is King lives up to the name in lyrical content, and is so full of Biblical references that it caused a spike in people searching for answers about Christianity.

According to Faithwire, “Jesus” and “What do Christians believe?” saw a spike shortly after the album’s release.

In response, the American Bible Society—an organization founded back in 1816—is giving away free Bibles Kanye fans curious about scripture.

Dr. John Farquhar Plake, the organization’s director of ministry intelligence explained to Fox News, “When we saw an influential cultural figure like Kanye inspiring young people to curiously seek out answers to their faith questions, we saw that as an opportunity to do what we do best as an organization: to provide God’s word and point people to it as a source to their questions about faith.”

They set up a form at abs.bible/kanye that people can fill out to claim a free Bible.
