The inspiration behind the song:
Roni says: “I wanted to depict what Christmas is like in Africa. In Malawi, the Christmas season is rainy, hot, full of love, enjoyment and good times with family. We look forward to eating rice and chicken on Christmas day, giving each other gifts and most importantly, reminding each other that God’s gift to us is the reason we are free.”
I hope everyone that listens to this remembers that Christmas is about Christ, the giver and the gift. It’s about love and a whole lot of good vibes.

Background information about Roni:
Roni is a young girl from Malawi who loves to sing for the Lord. She loves to play the piano; it helps her express herself. She started singing at a tender age, and her family encouraged and helped her get better and better. She writes her own music and hopes to bring glory to God’s name in every song she sings. Roni’s mission is to tell the world that Jesus loves them, to tell everyone they have a purpose and to encourage people to live lives God would be pleased with.
