BLESSED greetings Cherished one. Our focal text admonishes the brethren to keep their conducts free from the love of money. Money is one of the vital tools that aid the progress of life. Money helps in the exchange of the payment of goods and services. Money is used to answer many good purposes. It is a requisite to the necessities of life. It also answers the call of providence, the duties we owe to God and humanity. Money is used to serve in the interest of Christ, the Church and also to do good to all.
Generally, money is seen as neutral in behaviour; it’s good or bad depends on the user. Plenty of money in the hands of a good person can do a lot of good but such in the hands of a bad person can also make a lot of bad things happen. As New Creation, the way and manner we behave towards money should be different from that of the world. Our focal text says keep your conduct or your life free from the love of money. In another words, get the money but do not allow money to possess and control you to fulfill ungodly desires.
The love of money as used here implies an insatiable or lustful craving and an ungodly affair with money. Therefore, stay away from the unlawful love of money which causes some to kill, murder, backbite, lie, gossip, hate, and engage in all forms of evil. Paul says in 1 Timothy 6:10 the love of money is the root of all evil. Note, the Bible never encourages lack of money or having it as a sign of godliness but warns against the ungodly craving or love for it. Stay away from the love of money. Get a lot of money to fulfill your assignment; but love God and humanity. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I receive increase grace to walk in wisdom towards handling money. I refuse its mastery over my life. I graciously exercise dominance over the love of money. I stay away from loving it. I’m being helped to love God and humanity and use money to fulfill my divine assignment in Jesus Blessed Name. Amen !
