BLESSED greetings, Cherished one. A person who works in diligence portrays certain characteristics. In other words, some virtues come to play in the arena of diligence. To wit, diligence is driven on certain wheels. Studying the earthly lifestyle of Jesus Christ, He portrayed a massive momentum of diligence. Some of the wheels of diligence include faithfulness, persistence, Not giving up (persevering), fervency (eagerness) and devotion.
In the parable of the talents, “His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant….’ (Matthew 25:21 ). Here, faithfulness implies being reliable and worthy of trust (trustworthy). When the master entrusted him with five talents, he kept it, used it and multiplied it into hundredfold. He did not misuse what the master gave Him. His faithfulness brought him much reward. Therefore, faithfulness leads to promotion.
Jesus was faithful to the Father’s assignment and His disciples. He was trustworthy to the extent that the announcement of His departure made the Disciples sad. Faithful folks will not backbite others. They focus on their assignment and think of strategic ways to excel. Many a time disloyal people are those with lazy minds and always seek quick schemes to succeed without diligence. Faithfulness is one anchor which drives or supports diligence. So get to work in diligence exhibiting faithfulness as a steward. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

PRAYER
Father, I thank You for teaching me the lifestyle of faithfulness in all I do. By the power of Your Spirit, I refuse to be disloyal in fulfilling my divine assignment. I am empowered to be trustworthy in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen!
