SHALOM greetings, Cherished one. People who don’t study the Bible in a balanced way have created a lot of misconceptions and teachings in our modern world. Sometimes, you would hear someone say “I will never be in Church for anything because God is everywhere. I can be in my room and pray and God will answer me”. Whenever you hear such a statement, it is a sure sign or display of arrogance and ignorance. There are some people who are too ignorant and arrogant to the extent that they don’t know and accept they are.
Our focal text is part of an event which took place when Jesus died and rose from the dead. At His first appearance, Thomas was not with the Disciples. However, Jesus had already blessed, instructed and impacted those present. (John 20:19-22). So since Thomas wasn’t present, He missed the blessings of peace, the instruction of being sent and the impactation of the Holy Spirit. No wonder he started doubting when they reported to him that Jesus had resurrected.
Beloved, whenever you miss the gathering of the saints, there are certain blessings and impactation you miss. Refuse to be like Thomas and be always present in the house of the Lord. Do not forsake the gathering of the saints in arrogance or ignorance. For you need both your personal and corporate anointing to thrive in this Christian walk. Your presence is needed in His house. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

_Thank You Precious Father for the blessings and strength that come from fellowshipping with You. As I gather together with the brethren I enjoy the corporate anointing, blessing and impactation that flow from the Head of the Church in Jesus Blessed Name. Amen!_
