SHALOM greetings, Cherished one. One challenge observed among most Christians is that they ask God for what He has already given them in Christ instead of receiving by FAITH what they have been given, enjoying them and growing into maturity. This was the trick the devil used against Adam and Eve in the garden. *He made it look as if they were lacking the God nature and lied to them if they’d eat of the tree they would become like God.* Meanwhile, God had already created them in His own image and likeness.

*Beloved, if don’t know and accept and use what you have in Christ, you will stagnate your own growth.* Why ask God to give you more power when you haven’t even used the one He gave you? Why do you ask Him for more love when you are refusing to exercise the one shed abroad in your heart? Why are you praying for sound mind when you are refusing to yield yourself to walk in self-discipline and self-control? Friend, Christ said, any one who is faithful in the little will be faithful in the much. In other words, using the little is what qualifies your promotion for much. (Luke 16:10).

Grow up in sound mind as you do for power and love. Self-control is one of the fruits of the spirit. Therefore walk in the Spirit and you will not be controlled and fulfill the desires of the flesh. (Galatians 5:18,22). Also, feed on the word in order to be built up against all forms of evil thoughts. *Where there is no sound mind, evil thoughts, suicidal thoughts, negative thoughts, depression and all manner thoughts lives rent free.* Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly and reign supreme above all sort of thinking in sound mind (Colossians3:16). The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

PRAYER

_My Father of all days, I thank You for the ability to be faithful and to grow up from one level to another. I graciously choose to grow up in sound mind in order to align with the thoughts You have for in Your purpose in the Blessed Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!_
