FOCAL TEXT:1 Corinthians 15 vs 33 ►► “Do not be so deceived and misled! Evil companionships (communion, associations) corrupt and deprave good manners and morals and character.”~|AMP|____________________________________
GLORIOUS greetings Cherished one, “evil communication corrupts good manners”. The word “communication” in the Greek is “homilia” and it simply means “companionship, communion or association”. There are good associations and bad associations in our society, school, church, home and workplace. Good companions help in building your character. They help improve your good moral or manners. Proverbs
13:20 says “The one who associates with the wise grows wise…”
So one hallmark of a good companion or association is wisdom. A wise association can make one grow in wisdom.* Blessed is the one who has a good companion as a marriage partner, business partner, friend or even relative. Your life can never grow dim walking with good associations. On the contrary, Proverbs 13:20 continues that “…a companion of fools suffers harm”. Yes, anyone in the association of fools suffers harm or destruction. A fool does not operate by the wisdom of God’s word. A fool lacks discernment. A fool is arrogant and even refuses corrections and counsel.
Proverbs 1:7 says “…fools despise wisdom and instruction; fools also hate knowledge (Proverbs 1:22). There are results for both the wise and the fool. Proverbs 3:35 “The wise shall inherit glory: but shame shall be the promotion of fools”. Beloved, do not be deceived, evil associations end in shame and evil ends. Don’t marry or associate with a bad companion. Your association determines your promotion or destruction. Be sober in God’s word and prayer. Open up your heart to the wisdom of Christ; Let the Holy Spirit guide you into healthy associations in your marriage, business, ministry etc. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

PRAYER
Dear Wise Father, I receive great wisdom, insight, courage and discernment to associate with the wise. I receive guidance as the Holy Spirit lead and guide me into healthy and fruitful associates and protect me from unprofitable ones in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen!
