24/7 DOXA Content, 6th December-HATERS OF INIQUITY

FRUITFUL greetings Cherished one. There are things you do that bring pleasure to your spirit, soul and body. However there are “negative pleasures” that can affect your life. These pleasures of the flesh and lust can war against your spirit (Gal 5:17). Therefore, you need something more than the body to overcome the flesh. For the body has its own natural or innate desires; However these desires cannot control themselves without your consent. It needs the control of your recreated human spirit which has been empowered by the Holy Spirit to conquer the flesh.
Our focal text says Jesus hated iniquity. Iniquity refers to lawlessness, ungodliness, or unrighteousness. It didn’t say iniquity was afraid of Jesus; Rather, Jesus chose to hate unrighteousness because God’s Spirit was in and upon Him. Note, unrighteousness is not afraid of anyone; That’s why you need to consciously hate it. The Spirit of God was upon Jesus and He used that power to dominate the flesh. So it is written that Jesus was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin (Heb 4:15).
To hate means to detest, despise, dislike intensely or greatly. Develop an intense hatred for any form of ungodliness; don’t love or decorate it. While you love righteousness, hate unrighteousness. What you hate, you don’t celebrate or entertain. As a New Creation in Christ, there is this good desire or pleasure to do right everyday. However, you must consciously respond to those desires birthed within you by the power of the Holy Spirit. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

I DECLARE
I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. The seed of God remains in me. I am energized from the inside out to bear the fruits of righteousness. I express my displeasure and hatred for all forms of unrighteousness by the power of the Holy Spirit in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen !
