FOCAL TEXT:1 Corinthians 15 vs 33 ►► “ Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.”~|KJV|____________________________________
GRACIOUS greetings, Cherished one. Our focal text unveils Apostle Paul’s discourse on the resurrection from the dead. He based his discourse on the truth that the resurrection of Christ gives hope to Believers that there is definite resurrection after death. It is on this note that he says to the Church in Corinth “do not be deceived” concerning the teaching of resurrection from the dead. He, therefore, employed a quote from one of their popular poets that says “evil communication corrupts good manners”.
Therefore to disbelieve the resurrection from the dead is an evil communication that can corrupt your good manners. He stated in the precious verse “If I have fought with wild animals in Ephesus from merely human motives, what do I get out of it? If the dead are not raised, “Let’s eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.”_ (1Corinthians 15:32, Isaiah 22:13). So having the hope of resurrection from the dead will help direct your lifestyle, thoughts and words unto godliness. You won’t join others to say “let’s eat and drink, for tomorrow we die”. Because when you die tomorrow, resurrection awaits you (1 Thess 4:16).
Your belief system forms the basis of your conduct. A person who believes in Jesus Christ and His resurrection will know how to conduct his or her life. Such folks won’t live their lives anyhow. See to it that you are not deceived. The word “deceive” means believing in something that is not true . Ignore any teachings, documentary or theories that deny the resurrection from the dead. Physical death is not final. Resurrection is real. Allow this truth to guide you to live in righteousness and not otherwise. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the hope of the resurrection. I refuse to be deceived concerning the resurrection from the dead. Since You raised Christ from the dead, I am sure of the resurrection. I, therefore, live for You in all my ways in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen!
