FAVOURED greetings, Cherished one. When you become aware of what God has given you in Christ they’ll reflect in your speech, thoughts and actions. God has given you the spirit of power and of love and of sound mind, not that of fear. So don’t chase for power, grow up in it. Don’t ask God to give you love, grow up in love because you have it. The same is true for sound mind. Grow up in it.

When we come to know what we have in Christ, we must fully accept, appreciate and enjoy them to the fullest. As we enjoy them we will grow up and become masters in them. In Matthew 25:15-29, the servants who received five and two talents went to work with it before they produced more; but the one who buried his talent was called wicked, lazy, unfaithful and unprofitable servant.

Don’t remain at the same level of power, love and sound mind. Grow up in them. How do you grow up in them? One, by increasing in the knowledge of God’s word and by application (practicing) of the Word. For instance, when confronted by fearful situations, learn to exercise power over them and anything that tries to intimidate your life. The more you learn to exercise power, the more you grow up in it. If you don’t use it, it becomes dormant and unprofitable. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

PRAYER

My ever-blessed Daddy, I thank You for the fountain of life that I draw from Your unfailing word. I thank You for given me power, love and sound mind. I graciously choose to grow up in them into maturity in the Blessed Name of Jesus Christ. Amen !
