BLISSFUL greetings Cherished one. What is your attitude towards prayer? What is God’s attitude towards your prayer life? There is always a pattern in God’s word to follow. *We don’t present our pattern to God for Him to follow. Rather, we submit to the view of God in all things including our prayer life.* God doesn’t want His children to stand before Him as slaves or beggars. He wants to see you pray as His beloved son or daughter. Yes, because you are His child. Don’t pray like a slave, because you are His child. Don’t pray like a beggar, for all things are yours. Pray in honour to God. Pray with reverence to God. Pray with humility, not pride.
God’s word teaches you pray to the Father in Jesus Name. This means you have relationship (son or daughter of God). God is your Father. This makes a great difference. Some pray like beggars. A beggar doesn’t know what belongs to him, so he’s always begging. A slave may also have most knowledge about what His master has but refuse to take advantage or even receive it. A slave thinks even though his master has everything he is not entitled to them. He feels pathetic and walks in unworthiness. However, a son never acts like that.
But thanks be to God for Christ Jesus, we are not slaves or beggars before God, but children of God. In John 1:12 word rendered “children” is “teknon” which means “offspring”, dearly loved of God, born of the Spirit and the will of God, not man. *Beloved, spice up your prayer life with knowledge, zeal and empowerment.* You are not a slave to always cry and weep beggarly before your Able Father. Praying as a beloved child of God is one of the ways to connect to the superabundant provisions of God. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

PRAYER
Dear Faithful Father, I thank You for the advantage given me to stand before You in prayer. Thank You for making me Your child. I am no longer a slave or a beggar. My prayers are answered as I humbly send my petitions in Jesus Blessed Name! Amen!
