FAVOURED greetings, Cherished one. After the knowledge that you are spiritually blessed with all spiritual blessings in Christ, remember that God also blesses materially. Jesus unveils that the Kingdom of God and His righteousness is the first priority and these things (material) shall be added unto you. A believer should not spend all his lifetime chasing after material blessings. They are additions after seeking the Kingdom of God.

Some seek for material blessings to the extent that they do not even know what the Kingdom of God and His righteousness demands. In the New Testament, material blessings come as a result of your service in the Kingdom and the application of kingdom principles. Scripture admonishes us to work with our hands. Note, folks in the Old Testament that God blessed were passionate workers. They were not lazy sleeping giants expecting miracles. No! They were smart and diligent workers.

The famous Abraham was a serious farmer in crops and livestock (Genesis 13:2). In the New Testament, the Apostle warned ” If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat…” (2 Thess 3:10). Beloved, your work gives substance for God to bless. God does not bless nothing. Work is a blessing, not a curse. That’s the scriptural way to be blessed materially, not through manipulation, corruption or tricks. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

PRAYER
Wise Father, I thank You for Your counsel which helps me to wisely direct the affairs of my life. I am spiritually blessed and this affects my mind to work with my hands. I refuse to be lazy. I graciously submit to hard and smart work. I thank You for blessing the work of my hands in Jesus Blessed Name. Amen!
