YOUR LABOUR IN HIM IS NOT IN VAIN

58》Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.~《NKJV》

One principle that has caused the thrive of Christianity is sacrifice. Jesus sacrificed everything including His life. Founders and leaders of great institutions have sacrificed a lot of things to be where they are now. Every great person is a product of persistent sacrifice. And as part of abounding in the work of the Lord lies the principle of sacrifice. There are some things you will forsake or forfeit or do in order to serve the Lord effectively. And your work for the Lord is a precious thing before Him.
Therefore our focal scripture says that as you remain steadfast, unmovable and abound in the work of the Lord, walk in the consciousness that your labour in Him is not in vain. In other words, your labour in Him is not useless or wasted. Papa God takes cognizance of all that you do for His work’s sake. He doesn’t forget your labour in Him. Serving or working for the Lord should never be seen a useless or wasted moment. For there is no one who ever served the Lord faithfully and run at a lost. Serving and working for the Lord is always gain. Hallelujah!
Even though you will go through a lot of challenges and persecutions, God as the best employer pays the best that pertains to life and godliness. Know that your persistent labour of love and sacrifice will never end in nothing. Your labour won’t be fruitless. Are you truly labouring for the Lord from your heart without murmuring or complaining? Then be rest assured that your labour in Him is never wasted. Keep working for the Lord because it is a memorable sacrifice before Him which attracts crowns of rewards. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
PRAYER
Dear Faithful Father, I thank You for the ability and opportunity to serve and work for You. I am much convinced that serving You is gain and that my labour in You is never in vain. I am enjoying the rich benefits that You always lavish on those who serve and work for You in Jesus Name. Amen !
