24/7 DOXA Content, 2nd January-DON’T SIGN OUT, CONTINUE Pt. 2

SHALOM greetings to the faithful in Christ and all who love our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in sincerity. There are believers who easily sign out of the faith in Christ due to some challenges; but that should not be your story. Note, serve the Lord because He is your Master, Saviour and King not only for the things you’ll get from Him. It is a great blessing to be connected to the Vine; and enjoying the glorious life in Christ. This is a sign of having a staying power.

Our focal text unveils the same staying power attitude or character in the early disciples. It says “these all continued…” The word “continued” implies persevering, constantly committing and diligently pursuing. The best experience in life is to continue with Christ despite challenges. They did not deny Jesus after He ascended to heaven. In other words, their faith was sorely built in Jesus. Thus, whether they could physically see Jesus or not, never changed their conviction of the Messiah.

The beloved Apostle wrote in 1 John 1:1 saying _“That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life.”_ So they were living by the Word of life they handled from the beginning. Beloved, as we move in this year, continue in this staying power with Christ, don’t sign out. Refuse to listen to evil or worldly counsel. *Resist any form of deception, temptation, challenges that will attack your staying power in Christ. Stick to God’s Word; yield to the intimacy of the Holy Spirit in order to build strong stability.* The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always. Amen!

PRAYER

_Precious Father, I thank You for a blessed life. I thank You for giving me the staying power through the Holy Spirit. I declare by Your Spirit who strengthens me that my faith is increasing steadfast and stronger in You. I cast down any imaginations, doubts, debates, arguments and everything that exalts itself against my staying power to the obedience of Christ in Jesus Mighty Name Amen!_
