MANY people, even well-meaning Christians have a certain kind of thinking when you tell them to seek for their divine purpose on earth. Many think God only calls people to preach the gospel or into the five-fold ministry. Listen, that’s not true, God has different purposes for different people in different fields. All the people in Bible days were not called to be pastors or preachers. Some were farmers growing crops and livestock, rearing cattle, sheep, goat etc.
For example, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob served God whiles being farmers. They were people that God chose to establish His covenants with them. Daniel was a politician. Matthew was a revenue officer collecting taxes before he was called into ministry. Bezaleel was an artist carving woods and craftsmanship (Exodus 35:31). Dorcas was a fashion designer (Acts 9:39). Lydia was a businesswoman selling purple cloths (Acts 16:14).
David was a musician, song writer, composer cum instrumentalist. Jesus was once a carpenter. Apostle Paul was once a tent maker. Remember, God has ordained that His children would take dominion of different areas or fields such as education, fashion, religion, business, politics, governance, media, family, arts and entertainment. So beloved, don’t panic; God knows you more than you’ll ever know yourself; He knows where you can function best. Rely on Him to direct your paths into the right PURPOSE ordained for you. The rich grace of our Lord JESUS be with you always. Amen !
PRAYER
Omniscient Father, who knows all things and even formed my inward parts. I thank You for the glorious purpose You have given me. I rely on You to direct me into the right purpose ordained for my life in Jesus Name. Amen!
