FAVOURED greetings, Cherished one. One vital price to greatness that you won’t stop paying is self-discipline. Not exercising self-discipline has caused many great people to lose their positions and relevance. It is such a blessed virtue that you need in every aspect of your life. One popular English dictionary defined discipline as a controlled behaviour or self-control; It also means a systematic method of obtaining obedience.

Self-discipline involves your submission to the authority of God’s word. And it is one of the fruits of the Spirit called “temperance” according to Galatians 5:23. You need to discipline your spirit, soul (mind) and body almost every moment. One area you need to train yourself to bed disciplined is time management. Thus, maximizing the time you have on earth. Refuse to misuse or abuse time. You must redeem the time. Use the time you have for precious things that will bring blessings to your life.

Time is a very precious commodity which when wasted cannot be recovered. Great people have learnt to maximize their time into fruitfulness. We all have twenty-four hours a day, but how you spend it and what you spend it on is very vital to achieving greatness. Refuse to waste your time on anything or anyone who doesn’t contribute relevance to your greatness in life. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

PRAYER
Precious Father, I thank You for the sweet counsel that comes from Your Word. I accept the challenge to walk in self-discipline. I graciously choose to maximize my time on issues that bring relevance to my life in Jesus Blessed Name. Amen!
