_____________________________________FOCAL TEXT: Proverbs 6 vs 6►►”Take a lesson from the ants, you lazy fellow. Learn from their ways and be wise!” |TLB|__________________________________
FAVOURED greetings Cherished one. Proverbs 6 vs 9 says the lazy person loves too much sleep and slumber. Thus, he allows sleep to take dominance over him. He loves folding of the hands; that’s he chooses an idle hand because his “idle mind” is not ready to engage in any work. Folks who fold their hands always have procrastination, excuses and reasons not to do something. The lazy person says “I will just sleep a little longer. Let me rest lightly a little longer”.
Such folks (lazy workers inclusive) waste time by taking long coffee breaks or extended lunch break.
Before this, much time is spent in reading newspapers, browsing social media, playing religion or playing music. They waste time discussing soccer, celebrities, boxing, home matters and lose focus on the main work or project given them. These attitudes of the lazy make them poor. Beloved, God cannot help a lazy and idle person. You waste resources trying to help a person who has made laziness his habit. If you are a lazy person, you need wisdom to engage in work, not prayers and fasting, nor prophecies.
