GLORIOUS greetings, Cherished one. When you genuinely encounter the revelation of God’s word unveiled in your identity in Christ, it also gives you a certain kind of intelligence which is known as prudence. Prudence in Greek refers to intellectual or moral insight. *In other words, it means mental activity or engaging wisdom strategies.* It is synonymous to discretion or good sense. Jesus exhibited a great sense of supernatural abilities backed by divine intelligence.
He never took natural laws for granted when the need be. For instance, He used boats to sail the sea. He only walked on water once. He borrowed Peter’s boat as a platform to preach the gospel so that the waves could amplify His voices to the multitudes. Even though He had the power to override natural laws, He sometimes subjected Himself to it. According to John 4:8, He sent His disciples to go and buy food with money.
In our focal text, we see Jesus applying another dimension of prudence. Jesus had performed a miracle by feeding over 5000 people with five loaves and two fishes. He, therefore, told His disciples to gather the fragments so that nothing would be lost or wasted. This is prudence or discretion (intelligence) at work. He never took discretion for granted. Beloved, the revelation of God’s word will give you certain kind of wisdom and discretion to run the affairs of your life successfully. So allow divine intelligence to guide you in every area of your life. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

PRAYER
Glorious Father, I thank You for the revelation of Your word which enables me to walk in wisdom, discretion and prudence. I make wise decisions to guide the affairs of my life. My eyes and minds are opened to make intelligent decisions in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen !
