24/7 DOXA Content, 25th February-BEWARE OF HUMAN PHILOSOPHY

BLESSED greetings, Cherished one. This end-time requires persistent soberness. *If you refuse to watch or take heed, things that you are supposed to overcome will tend to overcome you.* Our focal text tells you to take heed lest any man spoils you. The word “spoil” used here connotes the idea of being taken captive as a slave or booty after a battle. In other words, it implies carrying you off captive after stripping you of arms and seizing your goods, proceed in kidnapping you as booty or prey.

This is why you are admonished to beware or take heed. It is not God’s will that any of His children be taken as spoil, prey or booty through deception. One major scheme that we are admonished to beware lest man will use as bait is philosophy. Philosophy means love of wisdom. Apostle James says there is a certain kind of wisdom which is earthly, sensual and devilish (James 3:15).

Beware of any philosophical thoughts which make the human mind or intellect superior to the wisdom of God. Beware of any philosophical thought which lies against the truth of God’s word revealed in Christ. Different school of thoughts and scholars have propounded a lot of philosophical theories which oppose the truth of God’s word. Take heed and beware of such else you would be carried away as prey or captive. Stay connected to the unadulterated word of God and human’s philosophy cannot rule over you. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

I DECLARE
I graciously take heed and stay connected to the perfect law of liberty which is able to build me up and establish me unto the end. I refuse to succumb to human philosophy which opposes the wisdom of God. God’s word enlightens me in vigilance in Jesus Blessed Name. Amen!
