FRUITFUL greetings, Cherished one. The life we have in Christ is a glorious one. The devil envies the life we have so he has organized systems, strategies, schemes and crafty ways oriented against the Christian. Therefore, it is of utmost importance that God’s word tells us to BEWARE. These are cautionary notes to the Believer to help him stick to what he has received from the Lord.

The Greek word for “Beware” is “blepo”, the same Greek word Jesus used for “TAKE HEED” in Matthew 24:4 “And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that NO MAN deceive you.” Note Jesus’ focus was on “MAN”, not the devil. Our focal text also uses “ANY MAN”. So we are admonished to be careful of humans and what they can do because Satan has easy access to use humans for his deceptive works.

Blepo means “see to it, discern mentally, or take heed”. So whiles walking in Christ, stable in the faith, rooted and built up in Him, you should habitually see to it or take heed of the crafty system of deceptions of man (humanity). When you believe in Jesus Christ, you become the child of light so you have the ability to take heed and shield yourself from the power of darkness and its deception. Be vigilant, beware, see to it and take heed of your life in Christ because it is precious to the Lord. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank You for the cautionary note from Your word. As I stay connected in Christ and walk in Him and become rooted and built up in Him with thanksgiving, I am energised to becareful of the deceptive schemes of humanity in Jesus Blessed Name. Amen !
