24/7 DOXA Content, 24th August-FIGHT AGAINST POVERTY Pt. 2

GRACIOUS greetings Cherished one. To fight poverty, one must first know the causes of it. Thus, you must have the knowledge of what causes poverty. There are many causes of poverty. One of them is the lack of right knowledge. Hosea 4:6 says, lack of knowledge causes God’s people to perish. *In our focal text, people who tend to refuse instructions become poor and shameful. Instructions or discipline come through the right knowledge.* Many who ignore them become poor. Many can read instructions but will not apply it or put it to work.

*Any word of God obeyed or applied is a step into prosperity and a step against poverty.* Another word for instruction in our focal text is teachings. Many have not paid heed to teachings on financial principles, work ethics, laws of money, hard and smart work, the creative abilities of innovations, inventions and productivity in them. Many in poor countries have resort to spiritualise everything and tend all into prayer.

However, to obey is better than sacrifice. What needs application of instructions, discipline or principles cannot be solve by prayer and fasting. *Prayer has its special role but cannot replace every instructions.* Instructions, correction or discipline are given to be obeyed or applied, not to be “prayed”. *Get to apply instructions and teachings on prosperity as away to fight against poverty. Don’t be ignorant on laws of financial prosperity because poverty doesn’t leave automatically.* The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always. Amen!
