GRACIOUS greetings Cherished one. Why should anyone accept to be an enemy of someone? Why should anyone accept to intentionally hate and oppose others who do not agree with them or are not on the same level as them? The devil is the source of hatred or opposing others. Anyone who accepts to be your enemy is one who has allowed Satan to use him or her. But give no place to the devil. If Jesus admonishes us to love our enemies it means you don’t have to be in the position to also be an enemy to anyone.
Hatred is the work of the flesh manipulated by the devil (Galatians 5:19). Never live to be someone’s enemy. It doesn’t fit your identity as a Child of God. Did Jesus practise the things He told us to do in our focal text? Apostle Peter answers it here: When he was insulted, he did not retaliate. When he suffered, he did not threaten. It was his habit to commit the matter to the one who judges fairly (1 Peter 2:23). So Jesus is the best example of expressing love to all including your enemies.
Jesus never fought with anyone. He didn’t retaliate. The major aim of any enemy is to hate or oppose; but as a Child of God, you must walk in the love of God. Never live to walk in hate. Keep on forgiving, blessing and praying for them. As you do that, you override their evil schemes or plots. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

PRAYER
Precious Father, I thank You for the ability to love all including enemies. I receive the increased grace to live as a lover, not a hater. I dispense Your love to all as You empower me in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen!
