GRACEFUL greetings, Cherished one. The Book of Ephesians is one of the powerful epistles containing vital realities of the new life in Christ. The Spirit through Apostle Paul had discussed and explained many truths and he concluded with our opening text. He is writing to the born-again who through faith in Jesus are made righteous. He is admonishing all saints to be STRONG in the Lord and in the power of His might. Be strong in the Lord means endue with strength or increase in strength.
In other words, take advantage of the strength in the Lord and rely on it. Because by your own strength you can’t fully prevail. Your strength is only sufficient when it’s relying on the Lord’s. Your own strength is too small for the journey of life. There are many battles to fight and win; there are diverse challenges to face and conquer; there are kingdoms to subdue and territories to take over and being weak and feeble can never do it.
Cherished one, it takes the strong in the Lord to do exploits in this era. This dispensation demands toughness in the Lord, not weakling, lackadaisical or unsoberness. It takes the strong to even strengthen the weak. Be strong in the Lord. Yes, no matter what, make due diligence to be counted among those who are being strengthened daily in the Lord. Be strong in the Lord, because many factors and forces will fight against your love for God. Many situations will test your faith in Christ. Trials, tests and temptations may come from different angles, but be strong in the Lord. Hold on fast to your faith in the Lord. Yes, draw your strength from Him. Refuse to be weak. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.
I DECLARE
I take advantage of the strength in the Lord and ride on successfully in the journey of life. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I refuse to be counted among the weak. I persist being strengthened always no matter the challenges and difficulties by the power of the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah!
