THERE are different levels of relationships that you have to keep as a Christian. Aside your greatest relationship with God, you must engage and maintain a senior type of relationship. This refer to having a connection with one who has gone ahead of you in life, knowledge, wisdom and even godly experience. *This is because God raises giants in every field in every generation who are to impart the next generation.* They are there for a godly purposes. Giants here refers to people who have made extraordinary achievements in areas of their calling, purposes and giftings.
There are giants in ministry, finances, governance, media, education, business, health sectors etc. These are the men and women God send unto you to help you see afar. There are those you have direct and distant contact through their books, tapes and videos. Never take such giants for granted in anyway; Respect, esteem and honour them for what they stand for. Their counsel and words released on your life can influence your entire life and ministry. Our opening scripture speaks of how God used Moses to encourage his successor, Joshua to “Be strong and of a good courage.”
In other words, he was telling the young man to be strengthened, prevail, press on, be bold, determined, to grow firm and immovable for the task ahead. Most times in life, you need such people in your life to encourage you to move ahead and win the prize because they have already run that race and won. Beloved, it’s time to take these giants very serious as the oracles of God. The next generation needs something great from them to impact theirs. To think that you don’t need anything from a senior relationship is a sign of spiritual arrogance. Take advantage of them and learn. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
PRAYER
_Dear Father, thank You for the great men and women you have sent my way to impart wisdom, knowledge and guidance for my next level of success. I take advantage of them today and learn from them as You use them to mentor my life. Continue to bless all senior relationships in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ. Amen !_
