24/7 DOXA Content 2019 MONDAY, 19th August-THE LORD, YOUR GLORY

SHALOM greetings to you, Cherished one. In times of persecution, David saw the Lord as his shield and glory. He didn’t blame God, rather he resorted to the best in God through revelation. It is very dangerous to blame God. In our focal text, we are talking about who the Lord is to you as a New Creation. King David saw the Lord as his glory amidst all challenges. What a powerful truth! No wonder all the mistakes of David, God still called him a man after His own heart. Because David was sincerely after the heart of God seeking to always please Him.

It is such a blessing to know and walk in the revelation that the Lord is your glory. Beloved, are you born again? Have you believed in Jesus Christ, the only begotten son of God, then you are not without glory. The Lord is your glory. He is your brightness. He is your shining splendour. Glory, as used in the Hebrew is “Kabod”; the Greek is “Doxa”. “Kabod” means “weight or heavy”. The Lord is your weight or heaviness. The Lord is your weight in this vain world. Without Him, you are a bunch of vanity or emptiness.

Therefore, you are not an empty vessel, but a glory vessel. When it seems life is getting tougher and pressure from friends and family pounces on you, don’t resort to any empty thing but resort to the Lord, your glory. He is the weight that makes you unshakable by the storms of life. “Doxa” implies the dignity, brightness, splendour and excellence of the Lord. It represents the all in all of God; Thus, all that He is and stands for. If you are in Christ, then the Lord is both your “Kabod and Doxa”. That’s why you shouldn’t bow to anything less of Him; And you cannot be put to shame and disgrace. Stick to the Lord as your glory and enjoy the glorious radiance and benefits that come from His glory.The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

I DECLARE
The Lord is my unfailing shield and glory. I am not without defence. I am not without honour and splendour. The weight and brightness of His glory make me different from the world. I walk, speak and act within His glory. By His glory, I advance and make progress in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen!
