BLESSED greetings, Cherished one. Lopsided teachings of God’s word can result to poverty, mental slavery and slow progress. God’s word has stated categorically that your ability to eat should come from your ability to work. “For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: “If anyone is not willing to work, don’t let him eat” (2 Thessalonians 3:10 ). Thus, God supports the productive work of believers because it is a means to enjoy livelihood. A person who sincerely works is the one who can attract God’s blessing on his work. In our focal text, working with your hands empowers material blessings.
Right teachings from God’s word to the New Creation will correct so many errors including wrong and covetous prayers. There are Christians who are praying to claim what they are supposed to work for. God’s favour in your life can attract “certain things” that you’ve not worked for. But you cannot always make a doctrine out of it. Our focal text warns and admonishes us to steal no more. In other words, we are not to engage in illegal means of acquiring material wealth rather work for it legally.
Stop praying to claim what you are supposed to work for. It is a sobering responsibility to work to have something and also to give to those in need. We are taught to work something good; that is, a work that conforms to godly values; honourable or legal work that brings honour to Christ and your life. In terms of material and financial blessings, we labour or work to have, not only pray to claim. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

PRAYER
Precious Father, I thank You for blessing the work of my hands. I thank You for blessing my mind to think creatively and act productively something good. I refuse to be idle. Keep on opening doors of favour and opportunities that will inspire my productivity at higher levels for Your glory in Jesus Blessed Name. Amen !_
