FOCAL TEXT: Colossians 3 vs 16►► “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”~| KJV |______________________________________
FAVOURED greetings, Cherished one. Today, our focal text unveils to us to teach and admonish one another in the faith. *Thus, you must allow His words to have dominance over you to the extent that it overflows in teaching and admonishing one another in the faith.* To “teach” means to direct, instruct, or impart knowledge. To “admonish” also involves cautioning, exhorting or reproving gently.
Therefore, when the word of Christ dwells in you richly, it makes you a teacher and admonisher of good things. You spearhead a good course. Some of the ways to teach and admonish others are through psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. A psalm is a spiritual ode or poem accompanied by voice or musical instruments. Usually, a psalm may be sung, chanted, or recited. A person can either sing or speak the psalm that is inspired by the Holy Spirit. Mostly, a hymn is a song of praise and worship addressed to and directed toward God.
