BLESSED greetings, Cherished one. Our focal text is one of the powerful texts in the epistles written to the believers. Many sermons about blessings have been centred only on material things. Material things are not evil but our focal text is higher than that. Before you seek or desire for any form of blessings, you must be fully conscious of the spiritual blessings in Christ.

The Spirit of the Lord through the Apostle unveils that the blessed Father HAS BLESSED us (not will bless us). So you are blessed, never forget this. And the kind of blessing is “all spiritual blessings”. Note, our blessings are first of all spiritual. These blessings are found “in Christ”. The truth unveiled is that when you become born again IN CHRIST, you are BLESSED with all spiritual blessings. Therefore, there are no spiritually CURSED children in Christ. A blessed Father cannot curse His children.

The word “blessing” used in our focal text means “to be well off, prosper or to speak well of” someone. So to be spiritually blessed means you are prospered or spoken well of by the Father because you are found in His Son. And in Christ are found all the spiritual blessings, which include eternal life, salvation, righteousness, sanctification and every good thing. Beloved, you are blessed with all spiritual blessings. You do not lack any spiritual blessings. You must, therefore, come to the consciousness of these blessings and enjoy them to the fullest. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

PRAYER
Father, I thank You for blessing me with all spiritual blessings in Christ. I am forever blessed and cannot be cursed. I am eternally saved because Christ holds me firmly. I enjoy all these blessings in Christ in as I grow in the grace and knowledge of the Christ. Hallelujah!
