SHALOM greetings, Cherished one. One aspect of prayer that brings a lot of results to your Christian life is praying in tongues. God’s word is not for us to debate or argue. The truth of God’s word is received by faith not by logic or reasoning. So if you are part of those still arguing or debating whether tongue speaking is of God or not, then you are missing a lot. Jesus unveiled in Mark 16:17 that those who believe in Him will speak with new tongues.

These new tongues come by supernatural enablement of the Holy Spirit, not by human reasoning. Speaking in tongues is one of the secrets for growing in your prayer life. No wonder Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 14:18 that “I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than you all”. In our focal text, he unveils that whoever speaks in an unknown tongue does not speak to human being, but directly to God.

So this defies the argument that why should I speak in a language I don’t understand. No natural human being understands you but God. And you are speaking mysteries in the spirit realm. Mysteries implies secret truths and hidden things not obvious to the human understanding. So if you speak in tongues, keep on doing it the more. If you don’t, desire it and the Holy Spirit will baptise you with it. *You get a lot by speaking mysteries in the spirit.* The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

Father, I thank You for given me the ability to speak in tongues. I speak secrets truths and hidden things with You. I am energised and empowered as I spend time praying in tongues in Jesus Name. Amen!
