GRACIOUS greetings, Cherished one. We have learnt from God’s word that He gave us the will to make choices. He gave us a will for our benefit, not destruction. However, your will can be influenced either positively by God or negatively by the devil. But as a born again Christian, it is of utmost benefit to know that God’s will is the supreme and the best for your life (Romans12:2). God knew what you would become before you became a clot of blood in your mother’s womb. He has a will for you (Jeremiah 1:5).
Therefore you must yearn to make choices according to the will of God. God knows your end from the beginning. He knows every detail of your life and how it will end. Jesus Christ unveils in Matthew 10:30 that “But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.” Our focal text says that the Father has a will and that when we pray we should say His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. That’s means we should humbly accept His will as the supreme over all. Don’t make choices out of your selfish interest. Make decisions that are influenced by His will or Word. This is why prayer is vital, it causes you to align to walk in God’s will for your life. Don’t live a haphazard life. Don’t follow the crowd to please them.
