FOCAL TEXT: Acts 16 vs 25►► “And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.”~|KJV|______________________________________
BLESSED greetings, Cherished one. Apostle Paul and Silas were imprisoned for the sake of the gospel; They performed a miracle by the power of God which led their persecutors to put them in jail. They were imprisoned with chains on hands and feet but their recreated human spirit, mind and mouth weren’t chained. So they began to pray and sing praises unto God; They did not praise the situation or deny Christ. Hallelujah!
This is the lifestyle of the New Creation in times of challenges. You have to resort to praying and singing praises to the unfailing Father, not to wail and lament about your problems. Wailing and lamenting won’t change a thing in your life. Challenges are not worthy to keep us down in Christ. Like how Joshua and Caleb saw the challenges or giants as bread: “Only do not rebel against the LORD, and do not fear the people of the land, for they are BREAD for us.!” (Numbers 14:9).
When they spoke like this, they put fear in their adversary and the situation at large. Cherished one, your response to the situations in life determine the outcome you get. Paul and Silas pressed their faith button instead of fear panic-lamenting button. By so doing, they unleashed God’s power to work in their favour. Thus, they turned the devil’s agenda of persecution to fulfill God’s purpose of glory at the end. Beloved, keep on praying and singing praises to God at all times and you’ll see the power of God working in your favour. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you.

PRAYER
Faithful Father, I thank You for the ability of Your word to inspire faith in me to respond to situations in the way You want. I refuse to wail and lament over what I am going through. Rather, I turn all into prayer and praises unto You. Let Your purposeful will be done in glory for my life in Jesus Precious Name. Amen !
