24/7 DOXA Content, 10th June-BE CONTENT WITH WHAT YOU HAVE

GLORIOUS greetings, Cherished one. One of the root causes of the fall of man in the garden of Eden was discontentment or dissatisfaction. The devil is very crafty playing this game with humanity. Papa God in His own wisdom gave all that the man needed and told them to dress and keep the garden; But He forbade them from eating of the tree of knowledge of good and evil (Gen 2:15-17). We never read Adam and Eve lacked any good thing; However, Satan came and introduced to them a sense of “unholy dissatisfaction.”
He deceived them to believe what God has given them wasn’t enough and that they could have more by disobeying God (Genesis 3:1,4,5). The move to satisfy their carnal appetites against God’s word brought great predicament to the human race. This scenario is happening in our current world today. Many are not content with what God has given them. The word “content” in our focal text means “enough, suffice or sufficient.” *Thus, you must walk with a sense of contentment not because you have all material things but your sufficiency or satisfaction is of God (2 Corinthians 3:5).*
Beloved, being content with what you have is a key to enjoying peace. *It’s a vital antidote to all this insatiable crave for money, wealth and unhealthy competition which create unnecessary enemies and tension. Contentment involves being holily satisfied despite your lot.* God is never against abundance or increase or having more but He is against a lustful and ungodly crave for money or wealth. *Be content with what you have; and most importantly be content in the God you serve who is more than able to cause you to abound in all sufficiency.* The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always. Amen !

_Thank You Precious Father for encouraging me to be satisfied with what I have and trust in Your great provisions. All that I have and will ever have is in You. So You are my ultimate sufficiency. With You, all things are mine in Jesus Blessed Name. Amen !_
